Although constipation remedies are very good for the body, they can also be quite inconvenient and uncomfortable, especially once you are forced to start going to the toilet more than you’re used to. Nevertheless, most users of these remedies argue that their benefits outweigh their disadvantages.
However, in order to make a good and informed choice, it’s also important that you understand some of the downsides in taking a constipation remedy. Some people consider such negative side effects to be unacceptable and will try to find other solutions for their problems. On the other hand, if you feel that such side effects are acceptable, you should also strive to be better prepared for when they do happen.
The first downside in taking constipation remedies is that you will be forced to take laxatives. This is because they are the primary ingredient in all colon cleansing products. Some products may use natural or small levels of laxatives, while others will use high levels of the stuff, but either way they all have it.
The problem with laxatives is that they generally cause abdominal cramps, not to mention problems with bowel movements and liquid stools. The discomfort which is caused by these sort of problems should be quite obvious. And as long as you’re taking constipation remedies, you will need to deal with this kind of problem.
Another problem which is widely associated with colon sweeps is that they can give you a bad day. After all, if you’re always going to the toilet, your work is bound to suffer. And if you’re taking a constipation remedy for the whole week then it’s going to be a very long week.
So if you want to avoid this sort of things from interfering with your job, you should schedule your colon sweeps during holidays or vacations. And you won’t need to do it for weeks. 2 or 3 days worth of colon cleansing will more than suffice to give you a clean colon.
